I know that this year is the last because I feel it. I feel the beginning of the end, the wonderful feeling of having to attend to, of having too many things to do in just 24 hours, every 24 hours.
What I feel is the certainty of knowing what to do next. A wise friend told me something enlightening in its 'banality': "You are a graduate in Medicine and Surgery."
And I love them both, medicine and surgery. And I love not having enough time to make peace with both, I love that time flies and I love doing things right. I like broken bones, I like the mess in my belly, I love to manage the chaos. And that's the american
way.
